Trauma Healing Intensives
Intensive sessions consist of a combination of traditional talk therapy and cognitive processing, EMDR therapy, mindfulness practices and somatic expression. Bringing together all aspects of your personhood in an intensive therapeutic session allows you time and space to experience the benefits of mind, body and soul care.
EMDR & Cognitive Processing
More than symptom management, but true processing and healing can happen through EMDR therapy. Through traditional talk therapy, paired with EMDR, we will work together to help you get past your past.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness practices are an evidenced based approach to addressing trauma, reduce anxiety and manage stress. Incorporating mindfulness into your intensive session we will enhance your experience.
Gentle Movement/Grounding
Gentle grounded movement centered in yogic practices will help to physically release trauma stored in the body. As trauma is experienced through our senses, it is important to release it also through the body.
Journaling/Resourcing
Processing through writing is a powerful tool to use in trauma recovery and healing. By integrating all aspects of our personhood in this intensive (mind, body, soul), we can begin to access expressive writing as a final layer of healing.
Investment for Intensives
Intensive therapeutic sessions are not covered by insurance and are private pay only.
In person, for Texas residents only. Not available as a virtual service at this time.
Intensives are available for half day, full day, and 2 day offerings.
